All inner courts of Wijnegem Shopping Center were painted with wonderful 3D floor art!

The works of art were made by artists Eduardo Relero (ESP), Matthew May (BEL), Leon Keer (NED), Remko van Schaik (NED) and Ruben Poncia (NED) under the guidance of Planet Streetpainting. You can view the pictures in the photo album.

On Monday 21 May, Q-Music DJs Sven Ornelis and Kurt Rogiers and their ‘sidechick’ Wine Lauwers will once again be cut off from the outside world.

For about 12 days they will, without information from outside, television, newspapers, mobile phones or internet, make a radio broadcast for five hours and live together 24 hours a day. The only information about the outside world will come from Wim Oosterlinck and Anke Buckinx.

All info can be found on www.q-music.be. You can of course also follow ‘The Experiment’ on the radio, but feel free to have a look on the spot. The studio is at entrance 5 of Wijnegem Shopping Center.

Need help filling in your tax form?  The tax officials are at your service!

On 8 and 9 June 2012 they will drop by between 9.30 am and 6.30 pm to help you with your tax form. 

Do not forget the following:   
- payslips, certificates and last year’s tax form
– amount of rateable value
– proof of payment that is eligible for deduction (mortgage loan, life insurance, certain donations, childcare, energy-saving expenses, proof of payment of cost of maintenance, etc.) 

As of Saturday 14 April, you can also get to Wijnegem Shopping Center with trams 5 and 10! We can of course not let this go by unnoticed, which is why we are organising a great competition on the opening of the new tram line. Below is some more information about the design competition:

Tram stickering:
Come up with original tram stickering for the ‘Wijnegem Shopping Center tram’. The best design will actually appear on a tram for our 20^th anniversary. Would you like to see your own design shine on a real tram? Download here the PDF, or eps or the Illustrator file of the tram’s technical drawing here. You can simply draw your design or create it with InDesign, Photoshop, paint, etc. It’s up to you! Do make sure your design radiates Wijnegem Shopping Center.
Are you ready? Then send your design to info@wijnegemshoppingcenter.be or bring it in to our information desk at the shopping centre. You can take part until 11 June 2012. Who knows, your tram could be driving around Wijnegem soon!
